The exact detail about Swamiji’s birth place and date is unknown but it is known that Swamiji was a born King. His father was a doctor and belonged to very rich Jamindar family. His mother was very religious and she installed love of God in Swamiji. Swamiji lived in a mansion of 70 rooms with an army of servants. When a saint came from Himalayas to visit them, he asked her mother for Swamiji. which she refused to do so at that time. Later on, after taking diksha from his own mother, Swamiji went in the search of his Guru and he found the same saint in the Himalaya who had come for him years ago to become his Guru.

After living for several years in Himalayas with his own Guru, it is believed that he spent a few years on a mountain with exalted masters like Maha Avatar Babaji. Later, he took Yatra of the entire country by foot. During this trip he helped and cured who seek his help.

Swamiji built many schools, colleges, hospitals, artesian wells and temples across India before finally settling into Gujarat. He came to Bhimnath Mahadev in Savali on 9th September 1959. The importance of the Bhimanth is that in ancient time, all nine Nath Gurus spent one night together at Savli. Swamiji’s Param Guru (Guru’s Guru) was great Gebinath, one of nine Nath Gurus. Even today exists the Samadhi of Gobinath Gehminath Dada who lived here some 300 years ago. It is also believed that the diary which Swamiji always used to carry with him, was given to him by Gobinath Dada. Till the late 1980’s, Swamiji went to Himalayas every summer to be with his Guruji. It was also for filling his Guruji’s wish that Swamiji came to Savli. He also reinstated a place called Dhaba Dungari (nearby Savli), which was once a Tapobhumi of great Hrishi Vishwamitri.

It is believed that Swamiji was a medical doctor and had taken sanyas after passing his medical exam. All the eight divine siddhis were under his control but he never manifested anything like vibhutis or neckless as these were lower kind of sidhis for him. He never took money from anyone. His teachings were in the form of short sentence like proverbs. He said that even he could not redeem three things in the Sansar – Debt, Enmity and Murder. Persons who have committed these have to come back to this world to redeem them.

No one knows his true age but his body barely aged and looked the same in the 32 years he lived at Savli. On 7 September 1991, he left Mahadev (Savli) for the last time for Nasik-Trayambakeshwar, without turning to look back, which was his normal practice. He met with an accident on his way and later became bhramlim. His body was brought to Savli and cremated in his Samadhi Mandir.

His body exuded a very peculiar fragrance unlike any other, very soft appealing and extremely enchanting. His Samadhi Mandir emits the same fragrance even today. He often said that “Sant ka anta nathi hota, Anta hota hai woh sant nathi”.
